Walks with children in the Comano Dolomites countryside
On the mountain trails, have you ever come across the Pied Piper, a talking cricket or the witch from the gingerbread house?
In the Comano Valley, you will meet all of them on the Sentieri per Piccoli Camminatori, fairytale themed trails for young explorers. A magical world, unveiled one step at a time.
Fantastic characters leap off the pages of fairytales to accompany you as you explore magical places.
There are six Sentieri per Piccoli Camminatori trails. Ideal for inquisitive children who are keen to discover more about the environment and to learn about nature.
The children’s writer Stefano Bordiglioni has written a story for each of the six trails.
A fairytale walk
Once upon a time.... the talking cricket in the Val Lomasone, the Pied Piper in the nature reserve at Fiavé, the witch of Balbido, the three little pigs at Lake Nembia, the artist Bascher at BoscoArteStenico, Captain Piccinino at Tenno castle...
These are the stories you can read in the beautiful and colourful books on sale in the tourist office and to explore on foot in the forests, meadows and ancient villages. Follow the wooden markers left by the characters in the stories, like Hansel and Gretel did with breadcrumbs.
The trails easy and entertaining for the whole family, where you can let your imagination run free. A chance to experience nature with your children through fairytales.
