I am Mirta, a mother, a museum educator and an archaeologist. Stories are my passion: those little, everyday stories found in the layers of earth or in objects shrouded in ancient mystery.
Because any object, even the most apparently insignificant one, has much information and some incredible stories to reveal, giving us a glimpse of long-lost times, of landscapes shaped by hard-working, intelligent men and women who built homes and communities on this land.
In some of these places, it feels like you can still hear the voices of ancient shepherds leading their herds to pastures new, or the sound of a carpenter chopping down trees and carving the wood.
