I was born and grew up near to Comano Dolomites. After moving away for a few years to study and work, I felt the need to return here, where I feel at home.
There is something very welcoming and cosy about this landscape. It’s like a huge open-air room. A room which is full of my favourite places.
Top of the list are the cloisters of the convent at Campo Lomaso, a haven of spirituality, culture and hospitality since the 17th century and home to Franciscan monks for hundreds of years. Within these walls you still feel the sense of togetherness which was the hallmark of their charitable mission. A visit here is a moving experience.
