In the Comano Valley, a number of ancient churches and chapels are open to visitors.
Ancient frescoes
For the local people, these important buildings represent traditions of the past which in some ways are still present and much-loved. Some churches feature frescoes painted by the famous Baschenis family, precious works of art dating back to the 1400s.
